Abstract:

The use of blockchain technology in various areas of industry and society has gained noteworthy interest over the last few years. Supply chain management is no exception from this trend. The most common terms between blockchain and supply chain are, among others, data transparency, traceability, immutability, security, and a collaborative multi-peer environment. These imply the possible suitability of blockchain adoption for supply chain applications. This paper aims to explore how blockchain can enhance the efficiency of the supply chain by addressing the common steps of the supply chain process. In addition, real-world case studies of blockchain adoption for the supply chain were examined
