Abstract:

Small hydropower plants in areas with suitable hydroenergetic conditions have become important resources for producing increasingly demanded electricity. These small systems are susceptible to both external and internal disruptions, which significantly increase their level of technical risk. Managing such systems in real-time is the subject of many studies that take all influencing factors into account to ensure the optimal exploitation of natural resources. These energy systems represent fully integrated technical units that demonstrate strong robustness under various operating and exploitation conditions
